As a horse owner I appreciate the variety of horses and poses used in the statues. What a great way to introduce people to the equine world, promote commerce, and feature the work of local artists.

A neat project! Your presentation was both interesting and informative. I think this could be used in a social studies class as well as an art class

I live in Shawnee and wasn't even aware that these horses benefited local charities! Thank you for such an informative story.

I did not know the story of the horses and why they are all over town. I am glad you did your story about this topic. It is really good.

I love that you thought to highlight these horses. We had buffalo in Oklahoma City several years ago, and my Mom and I loved to go on buffalo hunts to see where the new ones would pop up. You brought back some fun memories for me.
