Robin: This is a great story! I am only seeing it now... I did a search on our learning community for "thirties" and it came up. How wonderful you were able to get your dad to share these stories. What part of Missouri did your father live in, during the time he describes in this video?

Thanks, Wes! (My dad's oldest brother's name was Wesley!) Webb City is right in the corner of the state, close to Oklahoma and Kansas. My dad just celebrated his 85th birthday and my parents are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary this week, so we have lots of reasons to appreciate our past, present and future!
