Weta was born in Madill OK in 1927 on a dairy farm, because of WWII there were few farm hands available. Weta's father put her to work and while her parents provided well for ther family of seven Weta was determined to live a better life. In this story she will tell what it took to go to college. (Oklahoma A & M is now Oklahoma State University - Go POKES)

I loved your story. It caught my eye because I am from Madill. I've lived here all my life and I am a teacher at Madill. I want to share this with my co-workers.
