Welcome to our Ning, Whitney! Can you please upload your Asher student video interviews with veterans here? We used this space for our video uploads this week at UCO and it worked great. Eventually we will also upload these to our video server that is being purchased, but for now uploading here is our plan. If you have questions please let me know! :-)

I must be the first veteran to have a blog on your page. I served
in the Navy approximately 20 mos.during and after ww11. To get
a history of the transport ship i sailed to Okinawa on go to ASK
search engine and type in usslagrange apa124 and take a look at
it.

we anchored at enowetoc only a couple of days and arrived
at Okinawa 29th of july. we remained anchored in the bay for
a week for some reason. We were under kamikaze alert quiet
often during that time. Aug. 5th about 60 of us in my outfit went
on shore and set up tents because i remember the next day
aug.6 was when the 1st atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima,
Aug. 13 was when the ship came under attack so I had been off
the ship about a week, these dates i do remember. The dates and
wording in the one chapter is not exactly right. My ww2 experiences
was not much compared to most of the soldiers, sailers and marines,
but i'll share with you what i have.

Are they the black headphones like we had or are they white ones with headphones and a mic? If they are white ones, they belong to the college. If they are black ones, I have no idea. They weren't there when I left.

I had a GREAT time working with the teacher participants for the COV workshop in Kansas, Oklahoma! It's great to see teachers excited about using technology in the classroom. I have uploaded pics on my Flickr Photostream. Here is the link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/15056952@N04/?saved=1. Again I had a wonderful time. Thank you Kansas Public School! Great school. Great teachers! Delete Comment Delete Comment
What "block", if any, would you like to teach? Since our handouts have changed, I think it would be good for you to teach one of the blocks. Let me know what you think.
