Do you have photos that aren't labeled so that you don't know who is in that picture? Do you know where and when it was taken? Why not sit down and write those almost forgotten stories now before they are lost. It's never too late to start!

Main interests in the Celebrate Oklahoma Voices Project:
Oklahoma is full of stories that make our history rich. I feel it is important for us to get these stories recorded so future generations can see (and hear) just how the past has shaped this state. Also, as an Early Literacy Coach that works with the youngest writers, their stories begin as an oral history. I'd like to use that oral writing to develop their written work.
