Born and raised on the farm which my wife and I now own (well us and the bank). Two children; Ashely who has her biology degree and works at the Dallas Zoo and Jonathan currently a junior at OU also studying bioloby/zoology. This year marks my 18th year at Jay Public Schools, having taught 6th, 7th, 8th grade science and currently Biology, A&P, Zoology and Botany at the high school. I am a Basic Medic at Jay Amulance (for the past 21 years) On the farm we raise a few cattle and Clydesdale horses.
Main interests in the Celebrate Oklahoma Voices Project:
I have during my teaching/medic career been blessed to work with a great many elders in the Cherokee Nation. I believe a culture/language/people are disipearing through attiation and apathy. It would be my desire to preserve a bit of this for the future.
