That was great! The music really lent a sense of awe to the story. I'm telling my dad to come watch this--he's obsessed with Johnny Bench! When we first moved out here he wanted to go to Binger the first time they came out to visit!
This will be so special for them! I have tons of memories with my grandparents and great-grandparents...I feel like I should make one of these for them!
That was great! My grandma does genealogy too...we have everyone from the Chief of the Eastern band of Cherokees to a bunch of Irish horse theives! I love old family stories. I don't know if you meant to do this, but I liked how it faded out in the…
CUTE! My dad passed out when I turned out to be a girl and said "What am I going to do with a girl"! He's one of my best friends and we've done everything from race go-karts to dance recitals together! So when my first broher was born 17 years later…
Those pictues were beautiful! The music really set the tone for the video. When my mom went to Hawaii for the first time, she came back obsessed with that song! And she'll be totally jealous that you got to do the bike ride!
That was great! It's so special having family traditions for kids to grow up with. My mother-in-law did Christmas cards with my husband and his two older brothers and they are great to look back at. Hopefully your two will carry on the tradition wit…
That was great. I liked the music up front--it gave a real sense of adventure...and then the Golden Girls theme--perfect! I liked the history of the lab and then your personal stories. It all came together! Great job. I love your babies!
This was so awesome! I loved the newspaper clippings and your Dad's voice. It all helped bring out the nostalgia and reminiscence of the story. Really good!
I was born and raised in Miami, Oklahoma. I was an only child until I was 17, when my brother Daniel was born. I have another brother, Matthew, that was born when I was 19. I have been married for seven years. I graduated from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. I teach Fundamentals of Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and I do the yearbook.
Main interests in the Celebrate Oklahoma Voices Project:
I hope to share my stories and help students to share theirs. I also hope that my students will become better connected with Grandparents or other family members while making their stories.
Awesome - I loved it. Great job - humurous but also educational. Your pictures are beautiful and I went ( very quickly) through Xion one year when my dad was driving to see my brother in Seattle. Want to go back - but probably not on my husband's motorcycle.
